Booking conditions

Our general terms and conditions apply to all bookings of courses, classes, events, open training and other activities provided by JOM studio AB, org. no. 559307-8396. By your booking, you accept our booking conditions.

Booking

If the course participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must handle the booking for the minor. The parent or guardian then enters an agreement with us and the minor is listed as the person participating in our course. Everyone under the age of 18 must bring their guardian’s signature with them the first class session.

Registration is done via our booking system Agendo by entering your full name, telephone number and email address. Bookings with nicknames and without contact details are not accepted. You are responsible for booking the suitable level of advancement of the course. Booking confirmation is sent through e-mail, so check your trash can so the booking confirmation does not end up there. If you happen to double book or if you are unsure if your booking went through, you can contact us through info@jomstudio.se so you don’t become liable to pay for two spots.

A minimum number of participants is required for a course or class to start. Payment terms are 20 days from the date of purchase. This minimum number can vary depending on the course/class and if we cancel, this will be notified to registered participants through email at least 24 hours before the start of the course.

Payment

Payment is made through the booking system Agendo. An absent payment does not mean that you are unsubscribed from the course. If you wish to split up your bill or really do not have the opportunity to pay on time or the entire amount at once, please contact us through info@jomstudio.se Send information on how many times you want to split your payment and we will see if we can help you with a solution.

When paying against an invoice, the invoice is sent by Cready through e-mail. Look in your trash can so that the invoice does not end up there.

Plusmember & discounts

Discount codes cannot be combined with other discounts such as when buying a clip card/gift card. All discount codes are personal and may not be used for purchase of activities to be used by anyone other than the person to whom the discount code belongs. You who are a plus member will receive a discount code to use for the courses and activities for which it applies. You are responsible for taking part in the information about which activities your discount code applies to and to enter it when purchasing.

Our plus membership are purchased for at least three consecutive months. You cancel through Agendo/my bookings. You can cancel your plus membership at any time. The monthly cost is drawn from your card the purchase date for each month. The next monthly fee is not drawn as long as you cancel before the purchase day of that month. If you cancel before the first three months have elapsed, you will cancel before you have made payment for three months. We will then send an invoice for the remaining amount plus an invoice fee of SEK 50, as our terms for purchasing a plus membership are for at least three consecutive months.


You who take a course also have certain discounts for open training. The discount code is sent out through e-mail when you make a course registration and you are responsible for taking part in the information about which training opportunities your discount code applies to and to enter it when purchasing. Misuse of discount codes, meaning if you use these for activities that are not included in your purchase, can lead to a time-limited suspension for booking open training. Depending on the extent of misuse, we may also choose to send you an invoice for the not eligible and received discount amount.

Change of course and missed class opportunities


MISSED CLASSES – If you are registered for a course, you have a reserved spot in that course, but if there is room, you can make up for missed classes in courses at other times, as long as the level suits you. You use the benefit in the courses that have vacancies when the course starts, in drop in classes or standalone focus classes. If you want to use the right to “make up” for a missed class, you must also cancel/notify us of your cancellation of the class at least 12 hours before the class starts.

BOOK A DROP IN/FOCUS CLASS – When you want to make up for a missed class opportunity, you must book your spot and if you need to cancel the booking, this must be done at least 24 hours before the class opportunity. You are responsible for keeping track of how many class sessions you have attended. You can also cancel sessions you know you will miss in our booking program, so another student might be able to take your spot.

Change course – If you want to change to another course, you can also do this as long as there’s a spot left in that course. If the possibility exists, you should not cancel and buy again yourself, but contact us so we can move you instead. This is to avoid double fees. (Applies to cancellation/change of course.)

Changes in the schedule

JOM studio has the right to change instructor on a course/class without notifying the participants in advance. This also applies if the course has started. Our ambition is to never cancel courses/classes and in case of sickness find a substitute. Should we need to cancel, however, we try to announce this as soon as possible and the information goes out through e-mail or text message. If no suitable substitute is available, open training may instead be offered at the current time and you will be offered to make up for the missed opportunity in drop-in classes.

Right of withdrawal

JOM studio is covered by the exception in the Swedish law (2005: 59) on distance contracts and agreements outside business premises. This means that all bookings after the course has started are binding because your booking reserves a spot on the course. Cancellation must take place no later than before the course starts (see Cancellation below). If, on the other hand, you need to change to another class, you can also do so during the course, as long as there is an open spot in the course you want to change to. If you are unsure whether your booking has been processed, or if you do not have a booking confirmation by email, contact us within 24 hours. Cancellation

If you want to cancel your booking in a course, you must do this at least one week before the start of the course to avoid becoming liable for payment, since you reserve a spot in the course as long as you are booked.

  • At least 7 days before the start of the course: 0% payable/100% refund (in addition to the invoicing fee of SEK 20 for paid invoice). In case of cancellation after an invoice reminder has been sent out, we charge an administration fee of SEK 50 because we get extra costs with reminders.
  • 1-6 days before the start of the course: 25% payable/75% refund
  • 0 days before course start date: 100% payable/0% refund
  • Drop-in classes: Cancellations must always be made at least 24 hours before each class.
  • Open training: Booking and cancellation must always be made at least 4 hours before each session.
  • Plus membership: Purchased for at least three consecutive months. You cancel through Agendo/my bookings. You can cancel your plus membership at any time after three months have past. The monthly cost is drawn from your card the purchase date for each month. The next monthly fee is not drawn as long as you cancel before the purchase day of that month. If you cancel before the first three months have elapsed, you will cancel before you have made payment for three months. We will then send an invoice for the remaining amount plus an invoice fee of SEK 50, as our terms for purchasing a plus membership are for at least three consecutive months.

In case of injury or illness, you can with a medical certificate get an extended opportunity to make up for missed classes or get back the fee for the classes you miss. In those cases, you must prove your illness or injury through a medical certificate. In these cases, it only affects you who the medical certificate refers to, meaning only for courses/classes you participate in. Requests for cancellations are sent via e-mail to info@jomstudio.se no later than four weeks after the course has ended. After this time no refund will be made.

Event & private bookings

We offer 14 days open purchase when booking events. After that, the booking is binding, but if necessary, it is possible to move the event to another day, as long as the studio is free. Rebooking is made through e-mail to info@jomstudio.se

Open training – open pole/open hoop

When buying open training specific booking conditions and rules of conduct apply. You as a participant must have prior knowledge in each discipline and you are responsible for contacting studio staff and getting the information you need to know regarding rules and routines. If you book/buy open training without prior knowledge or knowledge of our rules, no fees will be refunded if you can not participate in the session. Training for Juniors

Open training (open pole, open aerial) is not included for course participants under the age of 16. Children and young people cannot become plus members either. Participants under the age of 18 may only book staffed sessions in open training.

Insurance & state of health

Members themselves are responsible for ensuring that the state of health is such that they can participate in JOM studio’s activities without risk. We have a collective accident insurance for members who participate in our studio activities. This presupposes that you follow our rules of conduct and conditions for course and class activities as well as your own training, as our insurance does not cover activities that go against these.

Liability of the customer’s possessions

JOM studio is not responsible for loss or damage to members’/visitors’ belongings caused by theft, burglary or any other reason.

Force Majeure

If during the course we have to cancel a course or change a course structure for reasons we can not control (force majeure), such as pandemics, serious spread of infection, war and similar events that we could not reasonably have foreseen, you are not entitled to a refund for the course you signed up for. However, we will always do our best to adapt the business to be able to continue. If we need to make changes to the course structure or course start, we will inform you about this.

Check your e-mail address

Make sure you enter your e-mail address correctly as you will receive information, booking confirmation, digital keys and invoice through the email address you enter. Feel free to check that our e-mails do not end up in your trash can. If you have created a login through your Facebook account, a tip is to double-check which e-mail you have registered there. If you need to change it to another e-mail, you can update it on Facebook and log in again and it will also be synced in our systems.

Personal information

When you book a course or event with us, you do so via the Agendo booking system. This saves your name and e-mail address (as well as the profile picture in Agendo if you have linked your account to Facebook). Your previous participation in courses and activities helps us in the work of offering as good teaching as possible. If you want an extract of your personal information or are removed from our register, please email info@jomstudio.se

Integrity – photography and filming

Filming and photography during classes may only take place with the approval of JOM studio’s staff and any other participants in the photo/film. All course material is protected in accordance with the Copyright law and documentations of class arrangements and technique may to some extent be made for own use, but documentation may not be shared with or used by third parties without JOM studio’s permission.
