Below are our advancement levels. This is not only levels of difficulty, but also a grouping of which figures and moments we work on within each level. In level 4, for example, we don’t work as much with the technique for level 3 figures, as there isn’t enough time for that, and we expect you to have a pretty good grasp of those figures already. So even if you’re strong enough to do an exercise at a higher level, it’s also good if you’ve taken a few courses of the level below so you know the technique for all the figures/elements included in the combinations at the higher level.
Poledance level 1 (beginner level)
This level corresponds to the beginner level, and here no prior knowledge of pole dancing is required. Here you mainly work with spins and combinations that start from the floor.
Poledance level 1 & 2 (beginner & level 2)
This level corresponds to the beginner level, and here no prior knowledge of pole dancing is required. Here you mainly work with spins and combinations that start from the floor.
Poledance level 2
This level is for those who have completed level 1 or have some prior knowledge of pole dancing. You should be comfortable with exercises such as Front/Back Hook Spin, Pole Sit, Fireman Spin and Fankick.
Poledance level 3
This level suits you who have some experience working with combinations on the pole and are comfortable with exercises such as Climb, Figurehead, Layback and Jasmine.
Poledance level 4
This level suits you who on both sides master Jamilla, Invert, Gemini, Scorpio and are comfortable with Air Invert, Supeman and familiar with slightly longer combinations on the pole.
Poledance level 5
This level suits you who want to work with heavier exercises in longer combinations and you should
on both sides master Air Invert (also in rotating), Shouldermount, Brass Monkey and Ayesha.
In Heels Intro (pole dance)
In this level, you get the simplest introduction to In Heels and we carefully go through the basic technique for heels style while you work on simpler elements such as posture, body waves, pirouettes, legwork and floorwork etc. Although the moves are suitable for beginners, we recommend that you first take a standard pole dance course, so you can practice grip strength in your hands and learn the technique of pirouettes and spins without having to focus on heels technique at the same time.
In Heels Basic (pole dance)
This level suits you who are beginner in heels style in pole dancing, regardless of what level you are at in standard courses. Here we work with basic techniques for heels-style, body positions, lines and beautiful transitions that we put together into combinations and choreographies. You build a solid foundation while increasing your strength and mobility in heels elements.
In Heels Intermediate (pole dance)
This level suits you who have prior knowledge of heels style and are comfortable with heels exercises such as pirouettes, bodywaves and lunges and feel strong enough to maintain an active muscle engagement in the ankle in these exercises. We work with more advanced and dynamic elements such as weight transfer movements, shoulderstands, slides & glides and kips, at the same time we work more with arm activation (push & pull) and leg muscle activation in the transitions. The combinations at intermediate are longer and heavier and we work more with mobility.
In Heels Advanced (pole dance)
At this level, you have experience training in heels and are confident in exercises such as weight transfer movements, more dynamic slides & glides and regular pole movements such as invert, shoulderstand and assisted handstands. The tricks and combinations at this level require more of your mobility and strength to be able to perform several heavier elements in the same combination.
Aerial Hoop Level 1 (lyra)
This is our beginner level and here you will learn to move from the floor in to the hoop. We work with simpler figures and combinations. No previous knowledge required.
Aerial Hoop Level 2 (lyra)
This level is suitable for those who have prior knowledge and are comfortable with figures such as Delilah Climb, Underhand Straddle, Star on the Bar, and Gazelle. It’s good if you feel confident in getting up and down from the hoop.
Aerial Hoop Level 3 (lyra)
This level suits you who are comfortable with figures such as Airplane (Front Balance), Amazon, Stag under the Bar, Butterfly, Cradle Drops. We work with longer combinations, more drops and rolls and it’s good if you are comfortable working on the top of the hoop.
Inom varje 6- eller 8-veckorsperiod kan det även förekomma kortare kurser, temaklasser eller workshops. För exakta startdatum kolla i Agendo.
